	L-Block Shields L-Block shields provide protection while working with low and high energy gamma emitting radionuclides. L-Block shields are available with front shielding from 0.5 to 2.5 inches thick and a selection of lead-glass window sizes. All lead-glass windows have a density of 5.2 g/cm3. All L-Block shields are encased in stainless steel. 	L-Block Shield Caves The Model 6-2.5-202016 is constructed of solid lead that is encased in stainless steel. It is shipped in three pieces and easily bolted together by the customer. The front piece weighs 150 lbs. and each of the two side pieces weigh 112 lbs. 	*Shielded Waste Containers* The Model 7-121224-.25 Shielded Waste Container has 0.25” lead shielding and is ideal for the rapid and safe disposal of gloves and other small items. The unique lid with a hinged-door is designed to shield the employee from the contents of the container even when the lid is open. 	Shielded Generator Containment Cabinets Shielded Generator Containment Cabinets safely shield generators in a nuclear pharmacy. The cabinet has two sliding doors on top. The cabinet is constructed of 0.125” steel and the generator containment area is lined with 0.5” lead on all sides and the top and bottom. Underneath the containment area there is a storage shelf that is available with or without doors. The interior of the cabinet is painted and the exterior is covered with stainless steel. 	Lifting Systems for Generators The Model GLS-GCC Generator Lifting System mounts on the corner of a shielded generator containment cabinet and safely and easily lifts generators into or out of the generator containment cabinet. A hand- held remote controls the raising and lowering of the winch. One Model GLS-GCC Generator Lifting System can service up to four generator containment cabinets. The Model GLS-TM generator lifting system is a track-mounted lifting system and is customized on a frame to fit your room and area needs. It will easily lift a maximum of 440 lbs. and the rolling tracks make movement smooth and easy. A hand-held remote controls the raising and lowering of the winch. The Model GLS-Mobile generator lifting system is a portable generator lifting system that is mounted on four heavy-duty, lockable casters. It rolls easily and will go through most nuclear pharmacy doorways. It will easily lift a maximum of 440 lbs. and a hand-held remote control controls the raising and lowering of the winch. A manual winch is also available.

(www.us.escoglobal. com) Class II biological safety cabinets and line them with lead per your specifications. Lead shielding thicknesses of 0.125, 0.25, 0.50 and 0.75” are available.
